Strategic vs. Financial Buyers
Strategic buyers promise synergies that either raise revenue or save costs, while financial buyers like private equity groups are more narrowly focused on that EBITDDA number. The module looks more closely at the strategic synergies and the different types and success models of private equity groups. As usual, realworld examples are used to illustrate the differences.
