Do you have what it takes to sell million dollar businesses? We are expanding and looking for a broker / advisor in Southern California.

We have MBAs and we have built and sold our own multi-million dollar companies. We now use our experience and expertise to help other business owners sell their companies. We don’t handle main street (small) business sales and we don’t do the large “investment bank” deals.
We are looking for a person like us that can handle the southern California area. We can do some training and a lot of mentoring, but we are not located in Southern California so we can’t provide extensive training. We need someone that either has gone through it themselves, or has experience selling businesses (both would be nice). An MBA is preferred but not required.
This is not a business brokerage job where we expect you to mail and call to land clients. We know how to produce leads and we need someone that can take them, successfully engage with the client, and then assist them through the process of selling their company.
It’s a great job with a lot of freedom, but it takes someone that has a wide variety of skills. A successful advisor will empathize with a business owner, understand financials, help value the business, prepare marketing materials, negotiate with buyers, help with due diligence, analyze contracts, etc. etc.
This is a commissioned position, and it can take nine months to a year to begin to make money. If you have another way to make money in the meantime we will work with you. A California real estate license is required within a few months of starting in the position.
